My article in La Tribune on the connecting and alliance strategies by low-cost carriers

If low-cost carriers have succeeded in becoming key actors in air transport, it seems that their future development requires a change in their model and more precisely in the structure of their network. What if the future of low-cost companies required questioning the "point-to-point" model?

This article (in French - "Compagnies low-cost: vers la fin des vols sans correspondance ?") offers some insights on this question based on a research article written by Frank Fichert and Richard Klophaus entitled « Self-connecting, codesharing and hubbing among European LCCs : From point-to-point to connections? » that has been published in 2016 in Research in Transportation Business and Management.
